To the future owners of 4342 N. Victoria Way,
We fell in love with this home the moment we saw it. We were looking for about a month and never really LOVED any of the properties until we saw this one. It was new construction so everything was brand new. We loved the stone front and how private the backyard was. We also really liked that the snow removal and lawn maintenance was something that would be taken care.
I personally think the best exterior feature of our home is the stone front and the deck which allows you to walk out to your private backyard. As far as the interior, I think the size of all of the bedrooms is incredible. Not to mention the huge open space on the 2nd floor. My daughter used that area as a play room. This home has so much space. We also loved the open floor plan in the living and dining rooms with the high cathedral ceilings.
My daughter was moved around a lot and her previous school rezoned the area so at 6th grade she had her share of different schools. She says that Central Dauphin is by far her favorite school. As a parent, I really liked the events they offered. They do a 5K Jingle Run every Holiday season. They had her train for it all fall. My wife even got involved and did the 5K with her!
This neighborhood offers lots of space and privacy which remaining close to all of the local amenities. The closest grocery store to us is Weis at Linglestown and Colonial Rd. They are always so friendly and have a very nice selection and competitive prices. There is also an amazing hibachi and sushi place within minutes from us. It is called Sakana and it is off Patton Rd. It is truly the best sushi in the area! On Sundays we like to go into the city and have brunch at this very quaint little coffee shop that has the most amazing crepes!
Being originally from Philadelphia and being used to the city, I would have to say that moving to the Harrisburg area was a little nerve wracking, but I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed it here. And my family really enjoyed how close we were to Hershey Park. My daughter loved the school district and thought it was "really neat" that we lived in the State Capital.
We have truly enjoyed our time here, and we are certain that you will too.
