To the future owners of 312 Sharon Drive,
There are so many great reasons to love this home! This neighborhood is incredible and full of friendly people. This bi-level/rancher neighborhood was built in the 60’s. This house was the 3rd house built in the neighborhood. Your neighbor's family build the rest of the homes on Sharon Drive. Your neighbor to the right and left built the homes that they are in, and they continue to live there to this day! The neighbors are extremely helpful, and they have always been there for me throughout the years. We've been to block parties on Jennifer, and we hold an annual yard sale in the community in June. There are so many people that walk Sharon Drive because it's a U-shaped road, entering and exiting on Pleasantview. There are so many people that are friendly and walk their dogs. I will truly miss everything about this house and neighborhood.
One of the best features of the house is the flat back yard. It is perfect for entertaining. We put a patio out back, next to a beautiful Japanese Maple Tree, which I fell in love with immediately. We had a dog when we originally moved in, and needed space for her to run. She was originally from Iraq, and she struggled with being tame, so we put in a 5-and-a-half-foot fence in the backyard. As time went on, we built one shed in the backyard, and then placed a second for additional storage.
The interior of this home also offers many wonderful features. The best part about the interior of the home is the bathroom. My dad built the custom bamboo vanity which fits the space perfectly. The tile work accentuates the vanity, and allows you to focus on the beautifully tiled shower. Another nice feature of this house is the walk out basement. The basement tends to stay cool during the summer, so it creates a great place to store food during a party since there is easy access to the backyard.
Central Pennsylvania is eclectic with the different opportunities in the city or the option to have a slower life in the suburbs or the rural areas. This neighborhood is close to all of the local amenities such as grocery stores and restaurants. I frequently go to Giant and Wal-Mart, as they are both within a five-minute drive of the house. The best place to get pizza or a sub is Mama's Pizza, they are quick, and they also deliver. If you want wings, go to Kokomos. If you want Chinese there is a restaurant right beside Giant. If you need a Dollar Tree, there is one in the same complex as Walmart. There is a CVS down Fishing Creek Road within 5 minutes of the house. If you use Rite Aid there is one next to Walmart or down the street from Giant. A roller skating rink (Fountain Blue) is 3 minutes down Fishing Creek Rd. There's a disc golf course on at the high school that you are welcome to use. Ski Roundtop is a 20 minute drive away. You can get Ice Cream from Brusters next to the car wash behind Mama's Pizza.
We are certain that you will fall in love with all this home has to offer!
